To our family & friends around the world, regardless of HOW and WHEN you celebrate holiday blessings, may we continue to celebrate the gift of diversity united by sharing love & compassion with those around us.
Here's a brief recap of the highlights of our "Seasons of Blessings" in 2006 including the arrival of Jenna Ann Breuss in the "Summer"!
Winter
-Kathy and Jerry welcomed the New Year together relaxing on three US islands - Amelia Island, FL, Jekyll Island, GA, and St. Simons Island, GA. We enjoyed walking on the beach and pursuing our first IOTA (Islands on the Air) expedition. We set up a simple amateur radio antenna from our hotel balcony on the Atlantic ocean allowing us to make contact with 162 HAMS from 14 countries and 26 US states. -"Coach" Jerry gained greater appreciation of Kathy's daily movement with Baby Breuss when dads grew a "baby bump" during their weekly Bradley Childbirth class - a class to help parents prepare for Natural Childbirth.

Spring
-Jerry took Kathy to enjoy the rolling hills of Louisvile, KY and Leavenworth, IN to celebrate their 3rd anniversary and Kathy's 40th birthday. They visited the Lourdes Rosary Shrine at the historic St. Louis Bertrand Church, watched the sunsets from their carriage house at the Leavenworth Inn, learned about Abraham Lincoln's boyhood years, toured the beautiful grounds of St. Meinrad's Archabbey, and visited the Muhammad Ali Cultural Center.

-Kathy & Jerry were "showered" with lots of love & support at various baby showers given by the Kumorek family & Motorola teammates.
-Jerry surprised Kathy for her 40th birthday with a special website & celebration with family & friends. Website available at: www.kathyis40.com
-Kathy surprised Jerry for Father's Day for a weekend getaway to the place of their first dinner date, Kirsch's French Country Inn, WI. They enjoyed some quiet mommy & daddy time before the arrival of Baby Breuss.
-We enjoyed attending Motorola sponsored activities - including White Sox Trophy celebration & Indy Race Car demo.

Summer
-Kathy & Jerry joyfully welcomed their precious little girl, Jenna Ann Breuss, on July 8, 2006 at 6:38 am - 7 lbs, 7 oz, 20 in. We experience the miracle of God's love everyday as we learn from Jenna. We are overwhelmed by the love & support from dear family and friends to celebrate our dream come true!
Here are some of our favorite pictures & video clips celebrating her first months at home, her baptism, and her 100 day birthday - a tradition celebrated by our friends in China.

-Kathy & Jerry worked with KM0TO Libertyville Amateur Radio club to sponsor a "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" interactive display encouraging youth & families to connect with the world!

Fall/Winter
-During this time, we enjoyed caring of Jenna along with managing metrics of feedings & diapers! :) We are thankful for our family & St. Thomas' MOMs group who gave us the gift of time & meals which helped Kathy & Jerry re-energize & enjoy some special "mommy & daddy" time during these early months. We appreciate the overwhelming support from all!

-During "mommy & daddy" free time, Jerry passed his Amateur Radio extra class licence & Kathy enjoyed volunteering at church.
